About the Tournament

Founded in 1981, the University of Macau (UM) is a comprehensive research-oriented public university of international standing, with a multicultural campus and a system of whole-person education underpinned by faculties and residential colleges in an international education setup. 80 per cent of its faculty members are from outside Macao. With English as the main medium of instruction, the university is committed to producing creative and socially responsible graduates with a global mindset and international competitiveness.

Office of Sports Affairs (OSA)
The commanding unit of all sports affairs in the University of Macau, and provides all sports venue and facility management on the UM campus. The OSA comprises of two teams, namely the Sports Development Team and Sports Facilities Management Team. The Sports Development Team (SDT) provides sports team management, advice and assistance to UMSU Sports Clubs, organize and coordination in various sports activities for UM students, scholarships and awards to UM Sports Teams Members. The Sports Facilities Management Team (SFM) manages and promotes the use of the sports facilities in UM.

Campus Information

Teams & Players

The Sydney Uni Basketball Team has been a dominant force in university basketball, winning the UBL minor premiership in 2021, the championship in 2022, and finishing as grand finalists in 2024. Backed by the University’s High-Performance Program, launched in 2020, the team has developed top-tier talent, including several professional players. Known for their strong culture and competitive edge, Sydney Uni has also represented Australia at international tournaments in Japan, Taipei, New Zealand, Qatar, and China. With a history of success and a commitment to excellence, the team continues to be one of the most respected in the league.

Zhejiang University High level Men’s Basketball Team, founded in 1992, is a sports team with excellent traditions. The Zhejiang University men’s basketball team has participated in major events such as the CUBA China University Basketball League, the National Student Games, and the ZUBA Zhejiang Province University Basketball League. They won the third place in the 14th CUBA China University Basketball League, the top four in the 19th CUBA China University Basketball League, the top eight in the 21st CUBA China University Basketball League, and the 25th CUBA Ranked third in the Chinese University Basketball League (Southeast Division) and fourth in the men’s basketball competition (university group) at the 13th National Student Games, and has won major honors such as the Zhejiang Provincial University Basketball League championship. Has also traveled to Taiwan, Serbia, Spain, and other places for international exchanges.

The University of Macau Men’s Basketball Team has consistently excelled in both local and national competitions. In April 2025, they triumphed at the 27th Chinese University Basketball Association League (CUBAL) Division III Southwest Region, earning the prestigious title of “Kings of the Southwest.” Their success continued in June 2025 at the 27th CUBAL Division III Final National Championship in Fujian, where they rose above all competitors to claim the ultimate honor—the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP title! From “Kings of the Southwest” to “National Champions,” this victory shows our never-give-up UM spirit, strong teamwork, and unshakable confidence. With a proactive attitude and relentless determination, showcasing the University’s spirit on the court and aiming for even greater achievements in future competitions.

Founded in 1946, the Seoul National University Basketball Team proudly carries a long-standing legacy of excellence in both academics and athletics. Through teamwork, dedication and perseverance, we have grown together as a team and continue to represent our university with pride.

The USM Basketball Team is made up of passionate, disciplined, and dedicated student-athletes who proudly represent Universiti Sains Malaysia in both 3v3 and 5v5 tournaments. Based in Penang, Malaysia, our team actively participates in various local and national tournaments, consistently achieving strong results.

The Ateneo Men’s Basketball Team is built on discipline and high standards. Every player shows up to compete, but also to grow with the Spirit of Magis guiding how they carry themselves. Grit and accountability shape their daily work. Each player owns their role and pushes themselves and others to improve. Progress is constant. Effort is non-negotiable. Leadership isn’t about titles. Everyone leads through action. They lift each other up, stay grounded, and keep the team first. They don’t play for personal glory. They play for each other. It’s a brotherhood. Success is shared. The National University of Singapore (NUS) Men’s Basketball Team is a dynamic group of student-athletes who combine passion, discipline, and teamwork to represent NUS at the highest level of university competition. Competing in the University Sports Games (IVP) and Singapore university Games (SUniG), the team is known for its competitive spirit and commitment to excellence. With a strong training culture and supportive team environment, NUS Basketball develops not only skilled players but also leaders on and off the court. Achieving 1st runner up in SUniG 2023 as well as 2nd runner up in IVP 2024. United by a love for the game, the team continues to grow and inspire the next generation of student-athletes.

The Cambridge University Blues Men’s Basketball Team represents over a century of sporting excellence, with their rivalry against Oxford University dating back to 1921 – making it the oldest inter-university basketball fixture in England. This rich heritage has shaped a program that seamlessly blends academic distinction with athletic prowess, where earning a Cambridge “Blue” remains one of the most coveted honors in British university sport. In recent years, the Light Blues have demonstrated their competitive strength with standout performances, including a commanding 88–67 Varsity victory in 2024 – their largest margin in nearly a decade.

Beyond the legendary Varsity clashes, Cambridge competes at the highest levels of British university basketball through BUCS leagues and national competitions, consistently challenging elite programs across the country. The Blues have cultivated a culture where international talent meets Cambridge tradition – recent squads have featured skilled players from across the globe, from NCAA veterans to European youth internationals, all united by the Light Blue jersey. With the university’s global reputation attracting students from over 120 countries, the basketball program embodies the same international excellence and competitive spirit that has defined Cambridge for centuries.
